Donald J. Sterling (1887-1954) was editor of the newspaper Oregon Journal in Portland, Oregon, from 1919-1952. Donald J. Sterling, Jr. (1927-2000) was the last editor of the Oregon Journal, serving from 1972 to 1992. He attended Princeton University and worked as a reporter for the Denver Post from 1948 to 1952.
